I originally bought this bed as a “quick fix” as I was moving into a new apartment. After the first few nights of using it, I was impressed enough to delay my plans to purchase a real bed. Unfortunately, I noticed that it had started to develop small leaks after using it continuously for three years. Patching it up worked at first, but six months later, another small leak developed and I knew it was time to replace it.

Having struck gold once, I bought a similar air bed at from a different company. It was okay but after one night on it, I decided that I need to patch up the old bed one last time until I order a replacement for it. The soft mattress top on my Rising Comfort really makes a difference, the other one was just an air bed. I’m ordering another ASAP, but I’m deciding on which model to purchase.

I don’t expect that very many people would be looking to purchase this as their main bed. But I would recommend it for whatever purpose it is needed for. Speaking for myself, I experienced very little air loss for the first few years without ever taking it down. Before I had a leak, I recall only using the pump a few times to make it more firm. I’m wondering if those who had trouble received defective units or had problems with the cap when periodically deflating and sorting it.

We love this air bed! It is tall enough you don’t have to struggle to get in and out of bed. Our last air bed was too low to the ground, it was so hard to get up and down. The built on air pump is great too, it is so easy to add more air or release air and the cord fits into a nice little compartment. We had no problem using a fitted sheet on it either It is really comfortable and so easy to use. Inflating and deflating is fast and simple. And the best part is that it fits into the drawstring bag (included) making it very portable and easy to store away. Only recommendation is to buy a foam pad, because if its cold then the air in the bed is cold and then its impossible to stay warm.

I bought this airbed couple of month ago. Two people can easily sleep on it and the pump comes in very handy but unfortunately it lasted only 1 month and all the walls that separate the chambers detached from the surface and exactly one night after that the bed was completely out of air! Buying this kind of mattress was a big mistake. If you want one to last-long, go for a bed with just one chamber.

This was bought for my boyfriend and I to sleep on when he comes to town. It is very comfortable and there is a lot of room for us! It loses a tiny bit of air during the night but not so much that it is on the floor or anything. It is a little difficult to get up off of it in the morning because it is like a water bed. If you get a good wave going you can jump right up! The other problem I had with it is that it makes me sweat. Even with the covering and a sheet. I am still sleeping on vinyl and so I sweat. Not a lot but it is noticeable in the morning. I am happy with the fact that it holds a lot of weight too because I am a big woman and my boyfriend is a big man. It holds us with no problem. It was over all a very good purchase and I am happy with it!

Coleman Twin-Sized Quickbed with Wrap ‘N’ Roll Storage Reviews

We’ve got three of these air mattresses for our kids (my wife and I have a queen size for us) when we’re car camping and also to make the mattresses in our RV more comfortable.

They’re not heavy, they inflate quickly and easily (I recommend the 4D inflator) and deflate and store away just as easily. I leave them a little bit “mushy” so that the kids don’t feel like they’re sleeping on a board. They’re far and away more comfortable than the thin little sleeping pads (even the self-inflators) that we use for canoe camping and backpacking.

I did puncture one on the sharp corner of our RV door, but that’s the only problem I’ve ever had with them.

I was initially using a 12v inflator to pump them up, but learned quickly that the smaller 4D inflator is far superior and more convenient.

For the price and the comfort they give you for that price, I recommend them to anyone. You can get better, but it will certainly cost you.

Lived on it for a month while moving and then driving across

country.

This mattress is certainly not as good as the higher end alternatives,

however for the price it isn’t bad and is better than the lightweight

backpacking pads that I normally sleep on when camping. Note that it doesn’t come with an air pump so you’ll need to decide what type

you’ll get for it.

For folks thinking about camping in cold weather, realize that it doesn’t

insulate very well (nor do most pure air mattresses) so you’ll want to think about warmth. For summer/warm weather camping or as an extra mattress for kids, it is fine. Do be careful about not placing it on/near

something which will puncture it. I never had a leak, but I’ve been very

careful with both it and my backpacking pads.
